NYMEX issued the following announcement on Friday, February 29, 2008:

 

 

Attention NYMEX Direct-Connect Market Data vendors,

 

 

NYMEX and CME have reserved Saturday, March 8, 2008, for the mock trading of Carbon-based and Emission Allowance products, the first to be listed in connection with the Green Exchange initiative. Contracts in these products will go live on March 16, 2008 (for the trade date of March 17, 2008).

We are strongly encouraging all Market Data vendors to process the ITC 2.1 data from both the NYMEX ITC 2.1 Multicast feed and the CME Market Data Platform (MDP) during this test.

 

 

Please Note:

·    Testing will start at 10:00AM ET and continue until approximately 12:00PM ET.

·    Test messages on the NYMEX ITC 2.1 Multicast feed (Settlements, Volume/OI, Summaries) will be disseminated with a trade date of the following Monday (March 10 ^th, 2008).

·    Test messages on the CME MDP ITC 2.1 and RLC channels (Trades, Bid/Offer, Cumulative Volume) will be disseminated with the fictional trade date March 8 ^th, 2008.
